 Superintendent's Wife
The granddaughter of an Assembly of God minister, Reneé Schneider has spent her entire life in the AG. She met her husband Phil as a teenager at Glad Tidings Assembly of God in East Peoria. They married on May 23, 1981, after Phil's graduation from Central Bible College.

Reneé and Phil served together as youth pastors at Glad Tidings before moving on to their first senior pastorate at Litchfield in 1985. Five years later, they became pastors of Cottage Hills Assembly of God.  In 2001, Cottage Hills AG merged with Bethalto Assembly to form Cornerstone Church, where they served until Phil was elected Illinois District Superintendent in May 2012.

Reneé has spent the past 30 years serving in worship and children's ministry. The Schneiders have five adult children and one grandchild: Phillip and his wife, Kaitlyn and their daughter, Emma; Matthew and his wife, Jenny; Andrew and his wife, Kaycee; Jenna and her husband, Drew; and Jared.
