Ken Dignan, a credentialed minister from Homer Glen, has written a follow-up book to his 1996 release, 'Til Healing Comes. Entitled, "Making Sense of a Suffering World: The Bible and a Life Story Reveal Answers to Why God Allows Suffering," Ken writes about the way that suffering has influenced his perspective, and how faith in God and His Word has prepared him to live a blessed and productive life. A polio survivor, Ken pastored Living Water AG in Bolingbrook from 1980-1991 before founding his ministry, 'Til Healing Comes Ministries.

"The goal of this book is to help you understand and make the most out of your times of hurt and pain," he says. "God uses suffering as a powerful tool to develop character, compassion, humility, faith, perseverance, and even prepare you for how you may serve God in heaven. It is my prayer that you will be encouraged, enlightened, and educated, so you can make sense out of “why God allows suffering.”

The book was released as a hardback and paperback edition on July 8 on,, and others, to name a few. It will be released as an eBook shortly. Check Ken's ministry website for further details, The book can be preordered from all websites.
