Ministry Opportunities

Calvary Assembly of God, also known in the community as Calvary Church, in Carthage is accepting resumes for their lead pastor position. The church is located in the Central Region/West Section of the district. With a population of 2,490, Carthage holds the county seat in Hancock County Illinois. The church is located across the street from Illini West High School, and Carthage Elementary School.

There is a 3 to 4 bedroom/two bathroom parsonage with an attached garage that has been recently updated located across the driveway from the church building. The sanctuary in the church seats 150 and there are rooms for offices and various ministries. The services are currently Sunday at 10:00 AM, Wednesday at 6:30 PM, and the church is open Saturday mornings for prayer. The building is also the home of Calvary, Assembly of God Bilingual, a Spanish-speaking congregation, which meats Sundays at 12:30 PM, Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

Applicants must be credentialed with the assemblies of God, and be in good standing with their district.
