Ministry Opportunities

Faith Assembly of God in Hamilton is accepting resumes for their lead pastor position. The church is located in the Central Region / West Section of the district and is General Council affiliated. There have been nine pastors since the church was set in order in 1948. The current average worship service attendance is approximately 30, with 25 active members, and church services are held on Sundays at 10:30AM, 6:00 PM, and Wednesdays at 6:00 PM.

The church has been growing over the year, and there are still great growth opportunities in Hamilton. The congregation of Faith Assembly of God are very faithful and loving, and they are seeking to continue to grow so that the lost can be reached and inactive ministries (Sunday School, Children￢ﾀﾙs Ministries, and Youth Group) can be restored.

The church is debt free and in very good financial shape. The church also owns a parsonage for the Pastor and his/her family. The parsonage has 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, a finished full basement, kitchen, sitting room, and living room. New windows and carpet have also recently been installed.

Hamilton has a population of approximately 2,700, with local schools for Kindergarten through High School. The community is very close to Nauvoo, Illinois where there is a heavy Mormon population with outreach opportunities.

Church staff is currently comprised of 3 board members, 1 trustees, a Sunday School Superintendent, and 2 volunteer cleaning staff from the congregation. The Lead Pastor position is the only paid position the church currently has. There is also an active Women￢ﾀﾙs Ministry group with their own ministry officers.
