Ministry Opportunities

    Mascoutah First Assembly of God is in the center of a small town with Scott Air Force base and MidAmerica St. Louis Airport nearby.  Mascoutah, IL has over 8,900 people, but less than 20% of the people go to church on Sunday morning.  We are a church in the Bible-believing pentecostal tradition that wants to reach our neighbors with the love of Jesus Christ.  Our beliefs are centered around wanting to go deeper in faith as we believe in the Assembly of God’s Statement of Fundamental Truths (https://ag.org/beliefs/statement-of-fundamental-truths).
    We love Jesus Christ and love people!  Our worship is on Sunday morning at 10:30 AM and includes Children’s Church (the kids are dismissed before the sermon) and a nursery.  On Wednesdays, we have adult Bible fellowship, and our First Teens Youth Group (for 6th to 12th grade).  We average 40 on Sundays and 25 people on Wednesday nights.  Every Monday at 6 PM, we work hard to reach our neighbors by providing free pastries and bread to the neighborhood at our Pass the Bread ministry.  We are involved in the town parades and other activities through out the year.
    As a group of believers in Jesus Christ, we value being Spirit-Led, serving faithfully, loving people, sharing the Gospel, and centering our lives around worship of our GREAT GOD!  We wish to offer our future full time pastor a negotiable salary with the use of our parsonage (utilities paid).  We are debt free and looking forward to investing in our future!  Catch us on Facebook at: fb.com/FirstAGMascoutah/
