LET'S BRING HOPE TO ST. ELMO!
In just a few weeks, we will be partnering with Pastor Samantha Landrus and Transformation Church in St. Elmo on Saturday, June 6.
Transformation Church is the relaunch of a church that had been in St. Elmo for a number of years, but had closed a few years ago. The official relaunch date for Transformation Church was Easter Sunday, so this event will be just two months after the relaunch and could really be a boost to what God is doing in St. Elmo. The event this year will be held at the St. Elmo Community Park, located just a few blocks from the church, at 601-799 W. 4th Street in St. Elmo.
We need your help. The effectiveness of this outreach event depends on three main areas. First, we need people to commit to praying for the event. Lives are changed when God’s people pray. Please pray for changed lives, good weather for the event, and for health and safety for all volunteers.
Second, we need volunteers to come and help with the event on June 6. The event will take place from 10:00 to 2:00, but we will need volunteers who can be there at 8:00 for set-up, and we need those who are able to stay until between 4:00 and 5:00 to help with tear down and clean-up.
Third, we need to raise the budget for the event. We are looking for individuals and/or churches to help us raise the budget for this event. Perhaps your church could receive an offering for this event. All funds should be sent to the Illinois District office, and marked for “GO Illinois.” Thank you in advance for all who are able to help in this area.
