Ministry Position
Lead Pastor
Hope Church LaGrange is seeking a Spirit-filled, visionary Lead Pastor to guide our
congregation into its next season of impact and growth. As our primary spiritual and
strategic leader, this individual will equip our church family to reach surrounding
communities, champion a bold local, national, and global missions mindset, and cultivate
an environment where the Holy Spirit moves freely to transform lives.
We are searching for an engaging, growth-minded leader who excels at inspirational
biblical teaching, developing ministry leaders, and fostering a welcoming, authentic
culture. Working collaboratively with our board, the Lead Pastor will help define our
strategic direction, energize our leadership, and expand our reach.

ministry.
Qualifications:
Spiritual & Pastoral Leadership
● Demonstrates life of active prayer, personal integrity, and Spirit-led ministry,
fostering a culture that encourages the operation and exercise of the gifts of the
Spirit.
● Full alignment with Assemblies of God doctrine and fellowship standards.
● Dedicated to the ongoing spiritual growth and discipleship of the lead church and all church members, with a strong pastoral emphasis on supporting and strengthening families.
● Demonstrates a lifestyle of personal evangelism, actively sharing the Gospel and
leading the unsaved to faith in Christ.
● Maintains a healthy home life, with a supportive spouse and family who share a
heart for ministry and active involvement in the church body.
Preaching & Strategic Leadership
● Proven track record of dynamic preaching, effective biblical teaching, and
compelling vision delivery.
● Prior Lead Pastor experience preferred.
● Ability to collaborate closely with, equip, and lead church staff, and ministry teams.
Community Engagement & Outreach
● Strong relational capability to connect with community leaders, civic officials, and
neighborhood stakeholders.
● Passionate commitment to local outreach, and global missions work.
● Proven record of equipping everyday believers and developing leaders to serve in
ministry.
Education & Credentials
● Assemblies of God credentials.
● Bachelor’s degree in ministry or a related field preferred.
