Children's Pastor
Bethel Assembly in Elmhurst is looking for a full time Children’s Pastor with a passion and desire to lead the next generation of children to be victorious through Christ and His Word. ï¿‚ï¾ At Bethel Assembly our desire is to see people grow into God￢ﾀﾙs purpose as we connect, love and serve God and each other.ï¿‚ï¾
The Children’s Pastor will oversee the BKids Ministry from Newborn to 5th Grade. They will lead, develop and cast vision to a wonderful group of 30+ volunteers and be responsible for all aspects of ensuring spiritual growth, development, and cooperation of both kids and volunteers. This would include, but is not limited to- curriculum selection, volunteer recruitment and development, classroom management, BGMC goals/incentives, and operational management necessary to ensure synergy, as well as, consistently looking to improve the weekend children￢ﾀﾙs services and experience. They will also work closely with the pastors and staff to ensure the success of yearly events, such as: VBS, Family Fun Day and other special events/services. We also have AWANA at our midweek service for 1st-6th grade. We are willing to train.
