Lead Pastor
Ava Assembly of God is accepting applications/resumes for their Lead Pastor position. The church is located in Ava, IL. Ava’s population is approximately 500.
The most recent pastor has been with the church since April 2022. The average Sunday morning worship attendance is about 36 (28 adults) with service at 10:00am. The average Sunday morning children’s ministry attendance is 8. We also have Wednesday evening adult Bible Study, kids and youth classes. The average attendance is 13 adults and 18 kids/youth.
Ava Assembly is debt free.
The church has a parsonage for the pastor and family.
Pastoral candidates should be credentialed and in good standing with the Assemblies of God. Additionally, the new Lead Pastor will be committed to preaching and teaching the Word of God, teaching the congregants to be fully committed to the Lord our God, discipleship, building relationships with the people, and assisting the church in outreach efforts.
